INSTRUCTIONS FOR HIGHER CAPACITY® RIFLE MAGAZINES

NOTE: watch your OAL on any ammo as longer than SAAMI spec ammo may

have feeding problems. This is not a magazine problem but a reloading

problem and only you can cure this. NEVER leave this magazine totally

loaded as the spring totally compressed does weaken faster.

The Higher Capacity® magazines are a special tool to add to your competition equipment.  The lifespan of any HC magazine should be 15 years.  However, if something happens to your magazine and it starts to malfunction follow the cleaning procedure below.  If this doesn't solve the problem, HC will replace the spring & follower for $50 (including shipping) but it must be returned in an untampered condition.  A new spring, follower, and tune up will be made along with a function test before returning it back, expect a 10 day turn-around time.

CAPACITY

This magazine is advertised and sold as a 32 rnd magazine, but will hold more and by stripping a round your magazines will hold more rounds.  This is risky as you may have a jam or the last round may not strip if you do so.  This is why I state they are 32 rnd magazines, they work flawlessly every time.  If you reload and use crappy brass with burrs on the base you can expect to have similar problems.

CLEANING

Caring for this magazine is easy: wipe it down with a dry rag, shake any dirt out from the base plate whenever it needs it, and NEVER oil it.  Oil only attracts more dirt.  If you decide to oil these you will start having troubles as the follower and spring are designed to work without any lubrication.

PLEASE, NO OIL OR LUBRICATION

If your friend adds oil it must be removed- use Brake Cleaner spray from Napa and give a thorough cleaning by spraying it onto a rag and cleaning by spraying it onto a rag and cleaning the magazines' insides.  You will also want to wipe down the spring and the follower.  Remember, oil will only attract more dirt and build-up.
